Good Morning Creekside!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas @ Creekside!

I walked around the hallways this morning and loved seeing the Christmas tree shining bright!  It just brightens my day to see our trees and see everyone starting to get into the Christmas spirit.

Our Christmas tree and our decorations can really set the tone for our environment but it's really the people in our school who set the tone for CES!   We are very blessed to have a great school and its because of your hard work and your positive attitude.  

We have the ability to control the mood of our environment around us..... 

I walked by a classroom this morning and watched as a teacher greeted her students with a big smile, a big hug and a warm / loving welcome.  I thought to myself.....wow.....she just made that kid's day start in an awesome way!!

I wanted to share this card I received this week.......


This is a testament to all of our staff, students and community.  It was very nice of Dr. Bivins (former LCS Superintendent - grandson is in Mrs. Carter's K class).  He was the Superintendent when Creekside was built.

I also got Mrs. Carter's permission to share this.....  :)

But I wanted to share his kind words about our school with everyone!

We had awesome data meetings this week!  I really appreciate the hard work everyone is putting into reading instruction this year and progress monitoring.  Great job!


One of the things that is great to see this school year (and every year) is commitment everyone shows to our students.  That is evident in your classrooms, the hallways and everywhere on campus.  Thank you for your hard work and your love for CES.
