Teacher Appreciation Week!
Welcome to Teacher Appreciation Week everyone! I truly appreciate your efforts you give each and every day at CES!
Just having the opportunity to wake up each day and "go to school" with each other and having the opportunity to teach students and work with their parents is a blessing.
Here at CES we have the best staff I have ever been around and I appreciate your positive attitudes and your hard work ethic you bring to school every day!
Thank you!!

ACT Aspire Testing has gone really well so far and I want to thank Mrs. Andrews and Mrs. Alexander for all of their hard work to prepare for the testing. Also thank you to Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Preston for overseeing the trouble shooting for testing each day.
We start 3rd grade this week and then all we will have is make-ups! Great job everyone!
Great job to teachers preparing students for testing! Some talk I have already been hearing.....
"Everything I saw on the ACT was already covered in class"
"I think I did great!"
"ACT was easier than Global Scholar"
Keep up the great work everyone! :)

With the last 4 weeks of school upon us.....I just would like to motivate us a little by going back to the book I gave you earlier in the year - "Move your bus" - by Ron Clark.
We want to avoid "potholes and roadblocks" the last 4 weeks
From "Move your bus"
Avoid these common mistakes that can keep you from being a "Runner":
p 116-117
Just going over the top 1...
- Don't see and spread the negative
Instead....be uplifting!
Notice all the blessings, success and beauty around you!
Add to the productive spirit - find a way to do it!
"The best news is that you have a choice.....what do you choose to see?"

7 Habits - Habit 6 - Synergize
In closing, I will encourage all of us to "Synergize" the last few weeks of school.
Don't just Synergize with each other but Synergize with our students and parents!
Remember - together is better!
Synergy is:
- When 2 or move people work together to create a solution.
- Taking good ideas and making them better by working together.
- Value other people's strengths and learn from them
- Getting along w/ others - even people different from us
- Teaming up with others to create better solutions than being along
- Being humble
---
Have a great week!
