Great Start to the 2014-15 School Year!

We have had a great start of school!  Thank you so much for all of your efforts!

Expectations revisited:

Expectations:
  • Love kids
  • Love what you do
  • Be a team player
  • Be a Leader
Now let's break them down a little......
  • Love kids - Do your students know you love them?  Do your parents know you love their children?  We are given a great responsibility each and every day. Tell them you love them and then show them you love them by your actions.
  • Love what you do - Is it evident you love what you do?  When your students go home each day - how do they describe you to their parents?  How do your co-workers describe you to their family?  When we come to school each day....show everyone around you how much you love what you do by how you do it.
  • Be a team player - How well do you work with your team?  Collaborate with each other on a daily / weekly basis.  Fill each other's buckets.  Be there for each other and encourage each other.
  • Be a Leader - We are all Leaders @ CES.  Each of us lead in our own different ways.  Be a Leader and mentor each other and mentor our students.  Teach the habits!  Make the 7 Habits language a part of your everyday language.  Be Proactive!
7 Habits Calendar for the School Year

Let's all do our best to highlight the habits on a monthly basis.  Next week will be September and we can all concentrate on Habit 1: Be Proactive.

September - Habit 1 - Be Proactive
October - Habit 2 - Begin with the End in Mind
November - Habit 3 - Put 1st things 1st
December - Habit 4 - Think Win-Win
January - Habit 5 - Seek 1st to Understand, then to be Understood
February - Habit 6 - Synergize
March - Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw
April / May - Highlight all Habits

From "The Seed"

p. 15 - "And you'll never find your purpose if you don't open your eyes.  It's amazing how many people go through life with their eyes closed.  They allow fear to blind them, and they miss all the miracles, beauty, and opportunities around them."

Keep your eyes open this week!  :)

We will be passing "The Seed" out soon.......

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
